The Apprentice will be required to be involved in all aspects of grape growing and harvesting including:
- Pruning, training and maintaining vines
- Pest and Disease Identification and Action
- Using Tractors and attachments (e.g. mowing)
- Use of specialist hand-held equipment (e.g. for pruning and weed control)
- Supporting the harvest and directing contract workers
- Supporting the processing of grapes in winery
- Involvement in bottling and packaging
