Wine Sales Assistant (Wine Jobs: Wine Retail & Sommelier)

We are looking for a full time wine sales assistant to join our team. A love and passion for wine is essential, along with the desire to provide excellent customer service.

Main Responsibilities:

Advising customers on food and wine choices
Maintaining cleanliness standards Preparing/serving/clearing food and drinks
Opening and closing of the business
Using various computer systems and maintaining Enomatic wine serving machines

Following day to day procedures including cash handling

Ensuring effective running of the business when working alone

The applicant will ideally have:

A proven track record within wine sales
Experience within a busy restaurant/shop environment
The desire to learn and progress
Wine specific qualifications (but not essential)
The ability to work well under pressure & keep up with busy periods

A positive can do attitude, able to find effective solutions to problems
