We are therefore seeking people with current practical vineyard experience for the following role:
Vineyard Apprentice (Salary within the range: £7,000 – £9,000 per annum) who will, through attending a City and Guilds qualification on a day-release basis, and with the support of the Vineyard Instructor and Vineyard and Winery Operative, learn to establish and maintain vineyards and carry out basic winery tasks. The candidate must have ambitions to start a career in viticulture and be able to work outdoor in all weathers.
The new post-holder will join a strong international team at Plumpton Wine Centre, a modern specialist facility with its own vineyard and winery. Through studying a curriculum tailored for next-generation wine professionals, students of all ages from diverse backgrounds thrive in its engaging environment.
Salary within the range: £7,000 – £9,000 per annum
