Business Development Executive / Manager
(Wine Jobs:
Management & Administration)
Full Time
Virgin Wines
Norwich,
England
Here at Virgin Wines we've got big plans. Not World domination or anything like that - we don't know anything about dominating Worlds. But we do know a lot about making and selling world class wines so we're focusing on that. And right now, we need someone to join our Partnerships Team and find new customers for us to sell our world class wines to.
Basically you'll need to identify new partners who have a database of customers that we can collaboratively introduce to Virgin Wines. How you go about identifying and getting a relationship with them is up to you. You'll have individual targets in place but we're big on team work and sharing best practises so this role won't suit someone whose sole interest is JUST to do their own thing. Having got new partners on board you'll get the most out of the relationship you can. Oh and you'll look after existing partners and keep those deals growing too. You'll probably end up in the Wig and Pen a lot after work if your team have anything to do with it.
The salary's good, you get to buy the wine at staff rates which is awesome and you'll be part of Jon's team who are a friendly, supportive, boisterous bunch. We throw some pretty good parties too. So, if you're great at forming relationships and selling and you want to work in a fun environment with great people selling an amazing product then this might just be the role you've been waiting for.
A bit more detail:

- You'll create and deliver impressive and engaging presentations
- You'll set up promotions and vouchers for partners
- You'll close a lot of deals and sort out contract negotiations
- You'll keep looking after the partner and work with them on new promotions to keep the business rolling in
