AW Wines are seeking a Retail Manager to further their investment in their Old School Wines brand both via their retail store in North Staffordshire and also on-line.
The successful applicant will work closely with the Directors of the business and will enjoy a good deal of autonomy allowing them to make a real impact on the buying and sales of wines and spirits for the Old School brand and also for the Gin Jamboree brand.
Applicants must be wine & spirt enthusiasts with experience gained through either the ‘on’ or ‘off’ trade and must be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills with both customers and suppliers alike.
They will also be responsible for a small team of retail staff and be involved with a much larger pool of events staff for the many outside events that AWW carry out each year that involve the Old School brand.
It is a challenging role, that will suit a well-motivated self-starter who is well organised and prepared to devote time and effort to growing the business and reaping the rewards of a successful, motivated and expanding company.
Applicants will need to have good IT skills, including social media and the imagination to manage a series of promotional campaigns to Old School’s clients across the UK.
Starting salary £22k plus extras but the right person can expect to earn upwards of £28k pa
