Head of On Trade - Instil (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

DESCRIPTION

Overview

Responsible for the business delivery of Net Sales Revenue and Gross Profit in On Trade and delivery in line with the overall business goals. Responsible for developing Instil Drinks commercial agenda, On Trade Team and building successful effective relationships with all major accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategy on how to build the business with key customer and manage the customer strategy and relationship
  • Lead, the development and implementation of the annual joint business plans and ensure excellence in execution
  • Develop together with the Managing Director, trade terms by customer that leads to maximum volume, profit, customer satisfaction and product availability at appropriate cost
  • Review sales results monthly and initiate appropriate action steps to deliver the targets
  • Minimise Keg Installation attrition
  • Delivery of budgeted Volume, Net Sales and Gross Profit targets for the On Trade, by working closely with other functions such as Operations, Category development, Finance and Marketing to ensure the best possible delivery against agreed KPI’s and targets.
  • Achieve account 4P targets (Product, Placement, Price & Promotion)
  • Contribute to the overall product range, sales and commercial strategy
  • Partner with the marketing team to develop business plans for new brands and lead the On Trade team in implementation
  • Lead, coach and motivate the team to achieve excellent customer relationships and business result
  • Lead the key account demand Forecasting internally and externally, in order to ensure 100% brand availability at all time

REQUIREMENTS

  • Relevant National / Wholesale On Trade experience in Beers and/or Spirits
  • Track record for developing direct report personnel
  • Strong strategic planning skills, particularly use and direction of people resource
  • Project planning skills
  • Empathic, people driven, team driven
  • Numerical reasoning and analytical skills
  • A strong ability to forecast accurately and an attention to detail
  • Entrepreneurship and an eye for new opportunities
  • Highly developed influencing and negotiating ability
  • Well-developed written & verbal communication, presentation
  • Good Marketing and customer marketing literacy
  • Effective use of networking and strong inter-personal skills
