MULTI-CHANNEL BUSINESS MANAGER (COMPOSITE DRINKS COMPANY) (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

Main Purpose:

  • Sustained growth of Sales turnover/Profitability and account base development through all existing/potential customers
  • To own the delivery of the annual budgeted task within the allocated customer base across all product sectors excluding Catalyst Agency Brands & MC Exclusives.
  • To effectively work with the Sales Account Controller to develop a clear TAM contact/growth strategy providing specific and measurable targets from a defined customer base.
  • Minimising risk through review and management of customer credit limits/ terms and reduction of debtor days
  • To provide accurate sales forecasts and liaise with Planners, Stock Control and Transport teams to ensure continuity of supply versus demand
  • Strong new account development and focused prospecting within your designated territory
  • Build and continuously develop an accurate & robust prospect database
  • Gather, utilise & share quality Market Intelligence
  • Explore new trading Markets/Opportunity
  • Build strong trading relationships with all key customers

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

Key Outputs:

  • Develop a territory business plan that clearly details a strategic approach for both existing and prospect customers that will deliver sales/margin/volume budgeted growth.
  • The development of individual account plans for all key customers.
  • To provide accurate sales forecasts
  • To establish an effective working relationship with all interfaces both internal & external
  • Discuss all additional customer investments with the DOS prior to any customer commitment
  • Try to work within the MC credit policy at all times
  • To implement where possible the defensible pricing policy
  • To implement the annual price increase with all customers
  • Provide quality customer support and direction to ensure service issues are managed swiftly & effectively
  • Utilise Powerplay regularly to identify sales trends, opportunity and managing own performance
  • The production of full wine brochures for our customers to secure where possible 100% wine and champagne supply and then going forward the creation of wine lists for their customers

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Minimum WSET Advanced
  • 4 GCE Passes (A* - C)
  • Minimum Account Management 6 Years
  • Track Record of New Business Generation, Negotiation and Networking within the Secondary Wholesale Market both on & off trade
  • Full Driving Licence 6 points max
