Position: Sommelier - Australian Wine Specialist
Location: Soho, London

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain an exceptional and comprehensive international wine list, with a focus on Australian wines that highlight the best qualities of each region.
- Provide personalised and expert wine recommendations to our diverse clientele, ensuring an unforgettable experience for every guest.
- Host wine tastings, masterclasses, and events that educate and engage our guests, leaving them eager to explore the wonderful world of Australian wine.
- Collaborate closely with chefs and other team members to ensure seamless pairing recommendations and enhance our guests' overall dining experience.
- Manage wine inventory and stock, ensuring proper storage, rotation, and ordering for optimal COGS management.
Requirements:
- A genuine passion for Australian wine and a deep understanding of its unique regional characteristics, grape varieties, and production methods.
- Proven experience working as a Sommelier, ideally with a background in managing stock and developing a successful and balanced wine list.
- Exceptional communication skills with an ability to convey complex wine information in an approachable and engaging manner.
- A natural ability to build rapport with both guests and staff, providing exceptional customer service and engaging trainings.
- Wine certifications (e.g., WSET) are highly desirable.
