Senior SAP / Business Analyst (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

Salary: £50k dependent on experience
Holiday: 23 days increasing with service
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week 8.30 – 4.45pm

Main Purpose of the Job
  • Involvement with implementation of SAP business processes working directly with key stakeholders and process owners.
  • Provide SAP support across the full landscape including all implemented modules and infrastructure
  • Work closely with external support partners and key business users to maintain the level of service indicated by established department KPI’s.
  • Collaborate with all levels of the business, communicate accurately and ensure that the ERP system is aligned with industry best practice and the business strategy.
  • Maintain the ERP operating procedures and documentation accurately and ensure compliance supporting any internal/external audits.
  • Manage SAP development and configuration changes on behalf of the business and challenge requests to validate business/best practice alignment.
  • Work closely with the validation team to maintain the compliance of the ERP system, highlight any non-compliance to senior business managers.
  • Work with external support providers to maintain security and integrity of the ERP system in line with external regulatory and audit requirements
  • Support the Service Desk with the management of ERP incidents, problems and changes, including building processes and procedures.
  • Working with the Chief Information Officer to manage own and external resource effectively; Agree with the CIO project scope, cost and timescale to ensure delivery.
  • Transfer knowledge from development phase into standard business processes through training and appropriate documentation.
  • Co-ordinate the activities of the development team and liaise with the technical team to ensure scheduled activities are delivered with the required skills and techniques.

  • 5 Years’ + experience across the SAP landscape
  • MMAP Advantageous
  • Strong process analysis and modelling skills
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
  • Ability to think and work independently and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders effectively.
