The Job

 

An early pioneer on the London ‘enoteca’ scene, Vagabond is a popular wine bar and award-winning wine merchant. Since our start in 2010, we’ve had a single-minded focus on catering to everyone who likes wine but doesn’t know much about it. For these folks, most other wine merchants are too snooty and traditional wine bars are dull and cheesy. We banished all that needless fuss, and simply focus on good, interesting wine from around the world. 

 

 

The ideal candidate will have the following:

 

·       Self-motivation, results–driven, comfortable with managing budgets and meeting sales targets and working autonomously

·       Experience in selling to the London on and off trade

·       A proven track record of account management

·       High standard of customer service

·       Strong numerical, analytical and organisational competencies

·       Strong business acumen

·       Excellent communication and presentation skills

·       Experience of working with Winemakers/Brand Owners/Brand mangers

·       Good level of wine knowledge (WSET Level 3 or equivalent)

·       Active team player able to work collaboratively across all divisions
