Having just been awarded the ‘Which? Award for best tasting liquid and winning over 50 Awards including the prestigious San Francisco Spirits award, the brand is gaining momentum on the global stage.
Reporting to the Global Marketing Manager, our Sponsorship Manager will create, implement and manage all ‘Greenall’s’ brand activity, leveraging its association and partnership with British Horseracing. Managing the day-to-day communication with Jockey Club Racecourse leaders and Jockey Club Catering, you would ensure all contractual rights are delivered, activation programmes are developed and long term sponsorship goals are all achieved. In addition, you would be responsible for supporting all areas of sponsorship renewals, UK promotions leveraging the association and hospitality activity.
Our Sponsorship Manager will plan and deliver events to a high standard whilst working with differing catering and bar operators. You will have the charisma and professionalism to host international guests. You will possess excellent organisation skills to manage the sponsorship ‘from end to end’, and have the ability to multi task regularly whilst maintaining attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively develop and implement activation activity for the brand and leveraging the partnership with the Jockey Club and British Horseracing, engaging with consumers
- Create brand promotions for UK on and off premise leveraging British Horseracing and providing the opportunity for Consumers to attend
- Build relationships and work with the day to day sponsorship manager at each of the racecourse leaders and their respective event managers
- Provie analysis on key success metrics
- Assist in sponsorship negotiations
- Deliver regular reporting on activity and sponsorship impacts
Skills & Experience Required
- A 2+ year track record of making a real difference in a sponsorship and account management role (preferably on the ‘brands side’ or with a rights holder or agency)
- A proven ability to deliver first-class, professional management of a partnership or significant business to business relationship (involving brand and company guests, media, trade as well as other internal and external stakeholders)
- Experience of successfully dealing with, and presenting to, senior-level internal and external people
- A natural proactive approach to identifying opportunities, generating leads and producing sales presentations
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multi task
- A keen eye and real care for detail
- Strong communication skills (both written and oral)
- A very self-motivated, engaging personality and also a truly great team player
- Courage to win, both at the races and with the growing, international Quintessential Brands team
