We believe in team spirit, passion, creativity and innovation. The position is a pivotal role within the Sales and Marketing practice at Acrotrend within the United Kingdom. The role provides a high level position within Acrotrend by helping lead the UK practice and further expand it to other geographies. 
Responsibilities:
The role will focus on leading and growing new business within Acrotrend, as well as managing internal sales consults and developing the team. You will have responsibilities for:

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide expert knowledge in new business development and growth of new clients
  • Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets within assigned sectors
  • Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and to expand the company’s customer base
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Partner with clients to understand their business needs and objectives
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
  • Understand category-specific landscapes and trends, reporting on the forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts
  • Participate in management activities of Acrotrend’s current account managers and further strengthen existing Acrotrend client relationships
  • Help manage and grow the existing sales team

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in Sales with at least 3 years in the role of either; Sales Team lead or Head of Sales (Director of Sales is fine too) 
  • Proven sales experience, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Industry background in professional Services for enterprise applications
  • Experience of managing lead generation and marketing team for new business
  • Experience in sales deals ranging from £10k to £1m at any one time
  • Experience of taking the sales revenue stream from £2 million to £10+ million
  • Managed minimum 5 person sales and marketing team
  • Experience of building smaller propositions worth £5-£10K of consulting assignments to prove value at new prospects/clients
  • Experience of managing account managers for up-selling and cross-selling at the existing clients
  • Experience of recruiting and coaching the sales and marketing teams
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including Executive and C-level
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from inception to closure
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services and position them against competitors.
