Overview:

The role of Outbound Logistics executive is vital link within the supply chain between our 3PL provider and key service functions within BPLB.

We are looking for a competent Outbound LogisticsExecutive to oversee and troubleshoot outbound service related issues related to our 3PL provider. You will be the one to coordinate and devise solutions to eradicate root cause to achieve the effective distribution of goods and excellent service.

Issues can range from incorrect systems set up, lack of detail, persistent service issues. This role is central to building a right first time culture and a desire to educate and help others across x functional departments to deliver a great customer experience.

Building strong relationships and trust with TradeTeam, Sales, Customer Care and Sales Operations is essential to the role.

The role will allow you to learn about different areas of the supply chain and solutions for your development and growth.

A great asset for a Logistics Executive is their communication and negotiation skills. They are also well-versed in supply chain principles and practices. The ideal candidate will have great attention to detail and a pragmatic approach.

The goal is to ensure the smooth operations across a variety of channels aiming for maximum efficiency and deliver excellent service.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify issues and determine root cause and implement long term solutions
  • Record and analyse and measure repeat service issues
  • Stand-in has an internal go to point for operational issues related to Trade Team
  • Support the Outbound Logistics and Solutions Manager
  • Highlight critical service issues to Outbound Logistics and Solutions Manager
  • Prioritise, manage and resolve service related issues
  • Analyse and Manage all delivery schedule change request (TT & BPLB)
  • Update and communicate all delivery schedule changes
  • Assist with Main Season operational planning and events
  • Manage On Boarding of New Group Account with Sales Operations and Trade Team including Composite
  • Review and assess Trade Team TLC weekly report with CC Team Leader and make decisions on removing accounts
  • Assess with CC Team Leader all new requests to add an account to Trade Team TLC
  • Maintain all relevant process documents
  • Work with Sales Operation and/or Account managers to improve the customer experience

 

REQUIREMENTS

Employee Profile:

This role is perfect for someone who is goal oriented, customer focused, has experience of working with a 3PL and the ability to escalate and resolve an issue appropriately to deliver the very best In service.

You need to be calm under pressure and flexible in working hours in order to best serve our customer base.

You need to be able to work independently or as part of a team, have excellent time management skills and a desire to constantly learn and develop.

You must be tenacious & conscientious, have excellent attention to detail and see problems as opportunities.
