Moreno Wines are a fast growing Company specialising in importing and distributing wines from Spain, Italy, Chile and Portugal.  Established in 1968, Moreno are dedicated to sourcing great wines and hope to offer the best balance of the modern and traditional by bringing new and exciting varietals and regions to the fore whilst still having great love for the traditional wines and cellars.

This year we are adding wines from France, South Africa and New Zealand to sell to Multiples, Regional Wholesalers and Retailers and the London Restaurant trade as well as many corporate clients and consumers through our Merchant outlet in Maida Vale.

We need someone to join our team to help us keep growing! Moreno is an amazing place to work. You will be supported, challenged and be made to use your initiative, but this is fantastic opportunity surrounded by, most importantly, fantastic people – and you’ll get learn about (and try) some pretty decent wine along the way!

What will this involve?

Sales order processing
Liaising with customers and taking orders
Entering the orders to meet customer deadlines
Checking order pricingWorking with accounts to invoice customers in good time
Assisting the sales team
Advising on delivery dates, cut-offs, stock levels, pricing
Helping to resolve any issues that arise
Working with our warehouse and delivery team
Ensuring the orders are processe
Checking of stock levels and product codes
Speaking with transport 
Answering the phone
Taking customer orders
Passing general queries on to staff
Purchase Order Processing
Advising on stock levels
Keeping track of goods-in and advising of ready dates 
Landing purchase orders 

What kind of person are we looking for?

You will be passionate about wine and ideally WSET qualified to Level 2

You will be an inquisitive problem-solver who sees things through to the end and looks for improvements in everything you do

You enjoy a fast-paced environment where you can demonstrate your ability to multi-task and prioritise your workload because you have a complete understanding of what brilliance looks like

You have great attention to detail and experience of working to tight deadlines

You will be computer literate and have a great telephone manner

You will want to contribute to a team but also be able to get your head down and take ownership for your objectives
