Roberson Wine is a multi-award winning business, specialising in the wines of the U.S.A. and France. Our Off-Trade department is a small team with big ambitions. We are looking for a creative and dynamic salesperson to build and maintain sales to independent retailers in the UK.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a sales-focused job for a target-driven candidate who wants to make a significant contribution to the growth and future shape of the department. You will:
- Generate new business leads and sales in the independent retail sector.
- Maintain and develop existing business.
- Devise and deliver exciting and impactful sales campaigns.
- Represent and promote Roberson Wine's superb list of agency and non-agency wines at events and tastings.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a goal-focused, innovative person to fit within a small team. You’ll need a good all-round set of sales and marketing skills as well as a love of wine. If you think that could be you, please apply, even if you don’t tick every box on the list below.
- Experience - At least one year's sales experience with a track record of hitting sales targets.
- Technical aptitude - You will need to be technically-minded, able to read and organise a spreadsheet accurately and have a solid working knowledge of business software. Proficiency with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop would be an advantage.
- Wine knowledge - WSET Level 2 or above.
- Other characteristics - You will be self-starting, creative, sales-focused, hardworking, organised, intelligent, accurate and a good communicator via email and telephone.

- Salary – Dependent on skills and experience.
- Benefits – Performance-related annual bonus scheme, generous staff discount, in-house wine training with producers, formal WSET wine training.
- Contract – Full time, permanent.
- Hours – 9am-5.30pm, Monday to Friday, plus some out of hours work at tasting events.
- Based at – Roberson Wine, 21-27 Seagrave Road, London SW6 1RP.

We are looking for a self-starting, goal-focused person to migrate a portfolio of existing clients to a newly developed online On-Trade website.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a new job for an ambitious candidate who can deliver new ways of selling to the country’s best restaurants. You will:
- Work with existing customers to migrate and grow business through our newly developed On-Trade online platform.
- Identify and develop new business.
- Devise and deliver exciting and impactful sales campaigns.
- Represent and promote Roberson Wine's superb list of agency and non-agency wines at events and tastings.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a goal-focused, confident and creative person to fit within our On-Trade team. You’ll need a good all-round set of sales and marketing skills as well as a love of wine. If you think that could be you, please apply, even if you don’t tick every box on the list below.
- Experience - At least one year's experience of On-Trade sales and/or marketing with a track record of hitting sales targets. A good understanding of the restaurant trade and how it is evolving. Experience in customer service.
- Technical aptitude - Good knowledge and/or experience of online sales and marketing platforms. A solid working knowledge of business software. Proficiency with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop would be an advantage.
- Wine knowledge - WSET Level 2 or above.
- Other characteristics - You will be a confident communicator with the ability to present at events and be engaging via the phone and email. Resilient and flexible with a proven track record of working alone and in small teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
