Marketing Specialist (Fine Wine)

We are looking for a proactive, growth-orientated and independent marketer to join our knowledgeable team of fine wine professionals, based in Central London. Our mission is to educate and supply our UK private clientele with the most exclusive premium wines from Burgundy, Bordeaux, Champagne, Tuscany and Piedmont, handpicked by the most recognised wine critics in the world.
As we continue to expand our product and service range, this is a particularly exciting time to join the business and develop your career with us. In addition to working on our ongoing marketing projects, you will have an opportunity to kick off, develop and own a completely new and exceptional product that has no equivalent in the UK market.
The role will involve:
- liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders, including creative and marketing agencies, customers, colleagues, suppliers and partner organisations
- planning and organisation of digital marketing activities involving but not limited to social media, e-commerce, web apps, content marketing, mailing, etc.
- event planning and organisation, managing the production of marketing materials
- continuing research and monitoring of client needs, competitors’ actions and marketing campaigns; their evaluation and creation of relevant marketing activities
The ideal candidate should have:
- a remarkable passion for and knowledge of both marketing and fine wines
- about 3 years of experience in marketing, including a strong digital marketing background
- experience with premium or luxury products
- native or bilingual proficiency in English
- WSET intermediate certification or equivalent knowledge of wines
