We are looking for an ambitious, proactive and creative marketer to join our growing team. In this newly created role you will have the opportunity to be involved in all of Jascots' marketing activities and responsibility for content creation and event management.
Jascots is an award winning wine merchant based in North West London focused on the fast growing smart casual sector throughout London and the South of England. We are proud to supply some of the most dynamic hotels, restaurants and caterers in the UK with an exclusive range of wines sourced direct from producers across Europe and the rest of the world.
Our diverse team come from a variety of backgrounds across the food and wine industries but all share a common desire to help our customers get the most from the category. As we continue to expand our sales team and client base this is a particularly exciting time to join the business and develop your career with us.
The role requires:
- At least 1 year's experience in a marketing or PR role
- Copy writing, excellent written English
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ambition, determination, creativity and flexibility
- Proven organisational skills and demonstrable attention to detail (project management/event organisation)
- A love of food, wine and restaurants and social media
A great candidate might have:
- Knowledge of Adobe InDesign and/or Imovie or other video editing software
- Skill in photography and image editing
- Knowledge of and contacts in the smart casual dining sector
- CIM certificate/diploma
- WSET Level 3 (or be working towards this)
The role - communications:
1. Creation and distribution of content for social media channels, blogs and newsletters
2. Evidence product quality e.g. tech sheets, press cuttings, wine lists, online short lists etc.
3. Compilation and organisation of award entries
The role - operational marketing:
1. Create collateral demonstrating relevance of services/training and testimonial value of clients
2. Event planning and organisation e.g. industry fairs, product launches, portfolio tastings
3. Coordination of pitch, tender and business planning submissions for key accounts
KPIs:
Leads generated and resultant new business
Accuracy and relevance of collateral and content created
Relevant attendance, impact, engagement and capture at events
Enhancement of Jascots corporate brand equity
Success of pitches, award submissions
Rewards/benefits : Salary £25,000-£30,000 depending on experience as well as bonus scheme and support towards gaining vocational qualifications.
