Quintessential Brands’ entry in the Global Travel Retail channel has resulted in many listings with the world’s highest profile operators – look out for us at airports now! We now need to build on these great foundations, taking our brands to another level through our first dedicated Global Travel Retail Manager.

The Quintessential Brands Company is a leading, independent, high-growth Drinks Company. Our brands include Greenall’s gin (the UK’s number 2 selling gin and the world’s fastest growing leading standard category gin), Opihr Spiced gin (the world’s fastest growing super premium gin, which was voted the world’s best tasting gin in 2014), Bloom floral gin, Thomas Dakin craft gin and Feeney’s (the multi award winning Irish cream liqueur). We’re also expanding within the fast-growing Irish whiskey category with our brands…The Dubliner and The Dublin Liberties, having recently acquired The Dublin Whiskey Company. We’re also implementing an edgy strategy to take forward our Alize liqueur brand which is growing in regard across the world.

The successful candidate will focus on the direct management of key operators in European Travel Retail, as well as the co-ordination of our regional Travel Retail distribution partners in the Americas, Nordic and the Middle East regions.   • Extensive, result-proven experience within Global Travel Retail, ideally when representing premium spirit brands?
  • A great commercially-driven winning mind-set, with a proven track record of increasing sales and profits with Global Travel operators?
  • An incurable analytical hunger and attention to detail – combined with an ability to see the bigger picture and create and implement strategies which bring about a step change in performance?
  • Experience of building a budget up from the product level, monitoring it and then ultimately delivering the volume and profit targets – all through a combination of intelligence, inspiration and perspiration?
  • Superb interpersonal skills – an ability to build the very best long term relationships with colleagues, customers and distributors from diverse backgrounds?
  • Experience of managing highly impactful activations…ranging from securing the space and hiring the promoters to liaising with our Brand teams to ensure excellent execution of promotions and growth in brand equity?
  • Multi-cultural agility and multi-lingual abilities are desirable but not essential
