We are a seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, a newly created position, to join our award winning and growing Company. The post sits within the Finance Team and reports to a Managing Partner.
Job Title: Financial Planning & Analysis Manager
Reports to: Managing Partner
Salary: Salary £50,000-£55,000 depending on experience
Location: Jascots HQ, The Observatory, Old Oak Common Lane NW10 6DX
Hours: 08:30 – 17:30 inclusive of breaks
Start Date: 1 - 14 September
The Role: Your purpose is to will be responsible for delivering high quality analysis around business performance as well as supporting departments in their delivery of budgets, forecasts and long range plans. Subject to performance we see this as a role that will develop over time and also has the opportunity for promotion. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Providing financial support and analysis in all commercial decisions including strategic planning for the company
- Leading and optimising the 3 year planning, budgeting and forecasting processes
- Implement a cycle of rolling forecasts
- Delivering robust and accurate analysis of business performance for individual departments identifying issues, opportunities and suggested actions
- Support to all commercial teams to develop business proposals
- Commercial proposal analysis
- Capital investment appraisals and post investment reviews
- Support contingency planning
- Analysis & recommendations on long term financial trends
Required knowledge, skills and competencies:
- Qualified accountant or equivalent
- Strong modelling skills
- Strong commercial awareness and experience of working in a commercial finance role
- Able to manipulate, analyse and model large volumes of data and identify key issues
- Able to communicate complexity using simple vocabulary
- Able to work with and influence non-finance teams based on robust data and analysis
- A keen sense of fun
