My client is a family owned award winning Sparkling Wine company, who are expanding. They are an established company and unique in many ways.

They are looking for a Design Production Manager to join their team. With strong experience in design production and project management, this position is responsible for managing the production of all brand assets, communication tools, packaging and adhoc materials required to effectively communicate their portfolio with consumers and trade.

This role has ownership and accountability for all design production, you will develop technical specs from creative agency concepts and manage legal requirements. You will also recruit and validate external production suppliers and create in-house designs for tactical projects.

The Role

  • Ensure all production projects and schedules are delivered on time
  • Effectively translate creative agency designs in to required formats  
  • Establish a PSL with external suppliers for all design production projects
  • Be a primary point of contact between winery and marketing teams
  • Produce technical artwork, ensuring legal requirements such as barcodes, legally approved claims/copy and international legal compliance are met
  • Ensure brand consistency of communication materials
  • Manage and monitor creative projects to ensure they are delivered on time and within budget
  • Be a brand guardian for all brand assets, ensuring all touch points are in line with the creative vision
  • Develop, create and adapt sales materials, such as VM window displays, direct mail, EDM strategy and POS materials
  • Be involved in the creative development process for NPD and communications including digital, printed brand assets, presentations, packaging, POS materials, visual merchandising

You

  • Good understanding of print and paper
  • Experience and an understanding of Luxury, Packaging or Wine
  • Great at project planning, ensuring simple processes are in place which are developed and communicated with various teams
  • Experienced with Adobe Creative Suite - especially InDesign
  • A portfolio of relevant work, including a selection of print examples
  • A knowledge of print or paper suppliers
  • Incredible levels of attention to detail
  • Self-sufficiency and ability to communicate original ideas effectively
  • A clear understanding of the business, portfolio and future goals of the company
  • WSET Level 2
