Job description
This is an important and central role within the International Commercial Team. The Commercial co-ordinator will provide admin support and analysis to the International Commercial Director and the International Commercial Team, and play a pivotal communication link between our Distributors and QBC (and vice versa). It is a varied role, which will give a very good understanding as to how our business works.
Responsibilities
i) Distributor Communications – ensure that there is an ongoing flow of positive business / brand updates to and from our distribution partners. Provide updates, and guidance on execution, to distribution partners on Best Practice brand activation. Keep discrete distributor databases (i.e. Gin only partners / Irish Cream only partners / all domestic partners / all GTR partners etc) updated
ii) Stock / Depletion / Shipment Trackers – ensure this monthly report is completed by our key partners, allowing us to understand forward shipment orders / stock levels / depletions etc
iii) Provide Monthly Forecasts for Demand Planning – ensure forecasts per SKU per distribution partner are received on time every month, consolidated and supplied to the Demand Planning Department on time
iv) Analysis / Admin support – provide analysis for reports / strategies, manipulating industry data sources to provide graphs / tables etc which present the information in the most impactful way. General support to International Commercial Director
v) A&P invoices – process A&P invoices via the agreed system
vi) Co-ordinate completion of the monthly QBC Executive Report – liaise with Finance, Marketing and Commercial teams to ensure the relevant information is provided on time
vii) Trade Shows – be our ‘front of house’ at our important International Trade Shows, including setting up of meeting schedule
viii) Brand Hub – ensure brand hub is updated regularly and is working well for our distribution partners
ix) LOA / Contractual status – manage the matrix which summarises status of all distributor agreements. Highlight to Commercial Managers when LOA / contracts due for renewal
Skills required
A team player, who has great interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will make this role ‘their own’, and build excellent relationships both internally and externally. Educated to degree level, we need excellent analytical and commercial skills, and superb attention to detail. A hard worker with a sunny disposition, who can prioritise the many incoming tasks.
Ideally the applicants will have held a similar role previously, most preferably in an International Brands business.
