The Strand Palace is hiring a bartender to be part of our bar service. We're looking for someone who can effortlessly blend exceptional service with a welcoming vibe, creating an atmosphere that makes every guest feel special.

Your salary: £11.97 per hour + service charge (plus paid overtime)

 What You Will Be Doing 

• To meet, greet all customers and resident guests in a professional and friendly manner, creating a warm and memorable experience.
• Prepare and serve house and bespoke cocktails, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages using the appropriate garnish, to the required standard.
• Be knowledgeable of all menu and standard cocktails, spirits, beers, wines, and champagnes, offering suggestions and recommendations as required
• Maximize food and drink revenue by offering suggestions and recommendations to suit customers’ individual tastes.
• Ensure all bar tabs/bill information is precise, transferred to the correct customer check/room no. and all payment transactions are processed accurately. 
• Ensure all furniture, crockery, and glassware are kept clean and polished at all times.
• Ensure the Bar is adequately stocked, and the displays look presentable, clean, and tidy.

What We’re Looking For

• A passion for the art and science of crafting exceptional drinks
• Certification or training in bartending or mixology is a plus
• Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixing techniques, and bar operations.
• Ability to engage with customers and create a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
