We are embarking on an exciting opportunity involving a major sporting sponsorship which requires an organised, highly collaborative and analytical Marketing professional ready to step up to this 12 month project. We are looking for an Assistant Brand Manager (12 months) who has experience in planning and delivering marketing activities. You will need to have project management experience in some form and be creative, but disciplined in your working style ensuring all plans are being delivered to a high standard. You will be joining a close knit Twickenham based team on a 12 month fixed term contract.

What will you do as Assistant Brand Manager? 

• Be the key project lead in developing and delivering a plan to execute this new partnership on-pack, ATL, PR and BTL, working with multiple stakeholders from various functions
• Develop a local marketing plan of action throughout the year in order to meet brand building and commercial objectives
• Engage and work collaborative with shopper marketing on brand programs to ensure activation with excellence
• Create and deliver impactful sales presentations
• Work closely with both the global brand team and local sales leads to ensure they are kept up to date on the latest brand updates
• Brief and work closely with our media, advertising and design agencies to deliver brand plans
• Contribute to building the brand plans for Wolf Blass in Europe
• Actively mine for insights to help feed into the brand planning process
• Actively propose new innovative plans to improve the brand’s P&L
• Own the brand’s A&P marketing budget, ensuring all spend is tracked with a high level of detail
• Lead the post-review of any major brand activities outlining the ROI (based on consumer & financial insights), highlighting any key learnings to take back to the business

• Work with insights to pull together market and competitive analysis when required

To be the Assistant Brand Manager you will have:

• Degree level education
• Previous hands on Marketing experience in a branded/consumer facing company.
• FMCG project management and Sponsorship activation experience desired
• Solid experience planning and delivering marketing-related activity 
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to prioritise tasks effectively
• Ability to work under pressure and at pace
• Budget management 
• Brand performance management
• Ability to mine through customer, consumer and shopper insights to understand the brand’s opportunity and challenges

• Agency management
