Accounts Receivable/Credit Control Specialist (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

We are looking for a motivated, proactive and confident Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our accounts receivable team. You would be joining a small, friendly Accounts Receivable team, based in Twickenham, and have a number of your own accounts to manage. Key to this role is the ability to manage the entire AR process from end to end and managing good working relationships with customers as well as our sales teams

Some of your key responsibilities as Accounts Receivable Specialist will include: 

• Calling, emailing customers to collect payment from multiple accounts
• Reducing aged debt & ensuring that collections are received through proactive chasing
• Cash allocation
• Checking and monitoring customers credit rating
• Liaising with business managers and external customers
• Ensuring company targets and deadlines are met to maximise cash collection and reduce overdue debt
• Logging, tracking and processing of all deductions/credit requests made by customers

To be our next Accounts Receivable Specialist you will have:

• Previous end to end credit control/Accounts Receivable experience ideally within FMCG sector
• Experience of working with a wide variety & volume of accounts, large and small.
• Strong admin skills, excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Strong negotiation and problem solving skills
• Proactive approach
• Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
• Good knowledge of excel
• JDE experience preferred but not essential
