Overview
We are seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join our dynamic team at Passione Vino, specializing in Italian wines. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the UK market and possess a strong portfolio of existing clients. This role offers the opportunity to represent premium Italian wines, build upon existing relationships, and cultivate new business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow sales within the designated territory, focusing on Italian wine portfolio.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, including restaurants, bars, hotels, and retail establishments.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and networking.
- Conduct product presentations, tastings, and training sessions for clients and staff.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and logistics, to ensure timely delivery and promotion of products.
- Achieve sales targets and KPIs set by the company.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales within the wine industry, preferably with a focus on Italian wines.
- Proven track record of sales success, with a demonstrable portfolio of existing clients.
- Strong understanding of the UK wine market, trends, and consumer preferences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proactive approach to sales and business development.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently, including travel within the designated territory.
- WSET or similar wine certification is a plus.
