Hatton and Edwards are Fine Wine Merchants based in North London. Established in 2013 we have 10 full time members of staff who facilitate the purchase and sale of the world’s top wines and spirits globally.
We have grown steadily over the past 10 years and we are looking to invest in and improve our logistics offering. This is an opportunity for someone to really make an impact and help implement some exciting new processes as we enter the next phase of our company’s growth.
We have an excellent opportunity for an individual to join our Logistics team. H&E sell and distribute fine wine all around the globe working from our North London office and temperature-controlled warehouse and several UK bonds. We are looking for a highly motivated and organised person who is willing to learn in a fast-paced environment. They will work under our head of logistics to fulfil customer orders and shipments. They will need to liaise directly with customers daily so high levels of customer service and organisation are crucial.
The candidate will also be actively involved in picking and packing orders from our London office, this role would suit someone who is fit and active and is comfortable lifting cases of wine that weigh up to 15kg regularly.
The candidate is expected to be IT literate and have good working knowledge of Microsoft office suite, primarily Outlook and Excel.
A genuine interest in fine wine and experience in a similar role would be an advantage but is not compulsory.
The role will compromise of:
· Assisting the head of logistics with all outbound orders
· Helping to manage the stock system in our new warehouse
· Working with third party couriers, warehouses, and shipping agents to arrange onward delivery
· Communicating with customers about their delivery requirements
· A high level of customer service will be needed as you will interact with customers daily regarding shipping, storage and any other queries as they arise
· Amending/ adding to orders and IT support tasks as required
· Helping the team keep the warehouse tidy and organised
This role would suit someone with experience in a customer service or logistics role, who is looking for the opportunity to work in the wine industry.

26 days holiday PA not including bank holidays.
£28,000 - £30,000 dependant on experience
