Direct Wines are currently looking to recruit a Personal Assistant to GM of Direct Wines Production and Legal Director. The role is offered on a permanent full time basis and is based out of our Borough Market offices in London.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate PA experience at Director and Senior Manager level as well office management experience. In addition, knowledge of basic French is essential and a good level of written and spoken is advantageous. Overall Job Purpose:
Direct Wines is an international independent wine retail group with an annual turnover of £285 million. Its principal brands are Laithwaites, and Averys. DWP is the production, sales & brand development division of Direct Wines’ owned and managed wine businesses in Bordeaux, South Australia and the Thames Valley. DWP’s key customers include the Group’s international retail businesses as well as an expanding and diverse band of external trade customers operating in non-conflicting sales channels

- Diary and email management
- Travel planning, bookings & confirmation
- Meeting planning, minute taking, circulation & action follow up

- Tasting preparation/organisation & clear up
- Ad hoc projects
DWP Team (UK & support for France & Australia)

Legal Director and Legal Team

- Office management at the London office

Qualifications/Experience:
- Educated to degree standard or equivalent (essential)
- Experience at providing Personal Assistant duties at Director or Senior Management level
- Office management
- Good spoken/written French (highly desirable) – however basic French essential
- Experience working in a legal environment (desirable)
- Experience working with premium, active & social brands
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
