Customer Service Executive (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

CUSTOMER SERVICE EXECUTIVE

Location: London, N7
Salary and benefits: £18,000

Our client is one of the UK’s leading independent wine distributors with their head office based in central London. From their UK depots they offer a national service with a local touch, reaching all sectors of the On and Off Trade. They are now looking for A Customer Service Executive to join their team.

The Opportunity:
The main aim of the role is to provide product/services information and resolve any emerging problems that our clients might face with accuracy and efficiency.
The target is to ensure excellent service standards and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Core shifts will be 9am to 5.30pm and 10.30am to 7pm on a rota basis. The other 3 shifts to be covered in the event of sickness and holiday coverage are:

7am to 3.30pm

1.30pm to 10pm

10pm to 6.30pm (Sunday to Thursday)

 

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage large amounts of incoming calls
  • Generate sales leads
  • Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication
  • Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools
  • Meet personal/team sales targets and call handling quotas
  • Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and follow up to ensure resolution
  • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
  • Ensure the Customer database which includes specific wine lists, pricing and delivery requirements is maintained and 100% accurate at all times
  • Take the extra mile to engage customers

 

Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous experience of working in a customer service role, preferably in a call centre
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to evaluate, prioritise and balance your own work load as well as being a team player
  • Have a good understanding of customer requirements and expectations across the wine sector
  • Be pro-active and willing to grow and develop with Berkmann Wine Cellars
