The role:

The Buyer position is within the global scope of PerfectDraft and reports to the Portfolio, Revenue Management & Buying Manager. The primary focus of this role is to assist in executing Perfect Draft portfolio strategy. This involves collaborating with third-party suppliers to negotiate and understand the products they offer.  Identify offerings in the marketplace that align with our strategy and maintain relationships with our current supply base, ensuring that relationships are well-managed and processes are streamlined.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships with partner brewers across Europe, serving as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Negotiate new and existing commercial agreements and joint business plans with suppliers. Initiate and oversee requests for innovation SKUs, taking ownership of timelines and coordinating with Supply to ensure SKUs launch in line with the broader portfolio plan.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the beer industry, cultivating relationships with other brewers, including those not currently partnered with us.
  • Analyze the PerfectDraft portfolio, evaluating innovation performance and identifying opportunities for enhancement to align with our overall strategy.
  • Coordinate with business unit commercial teams to ensure alignment with the PerfectDraft portfolio plan and collaborate on securing brewing partner support for promotional initiatives and campaigns.
  • Conduct margin pool analysis for current and potential SKUs, as well as pricing analysis and proposals.
  • Integrate the PerfectDraft portfolio plans with brand growth strategies.

Who we’re looking for?

  • Relationship Management, Demonstrating interpersonal skills in fostering relationships with numerous partners and suppliers.
  • Negotiation Abilities: Ensuring the best possible deal through effective negotiation tactics.
  • Commercial Acumen: Understanding the structure of deals and aligning them with business objectives.
  • Proficiency in Technical Skills: Demonstrated expertise in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Experience in the FMCG and beer industries preferred.
  • Background in buying or selling operations.
  • Proven ability in managing key accounts effectively.
  • You will need to be comfortable with working in the office for 5 days a week, if required
