The basic rate of pay is £21,000 per annum. You will also get 28 days paid holiday, good breaks, discounts on food and drink, as well as a secure and permanent position within a forward thinking business.
Working Hours
The working hours are for 48 hours per week. Normal shifts would be 08:30 to 17:00 Monday to Saturday. We do require applicants to be flexible to help cover busy seasonal periods from time-to-time.
Skills Required
Experience of working in a warehouse and distribution environment is essential as well as a valid UK driver’s licence and up to date reach and counterbalance truck licences. A digital tachograph and up to date driver CPC is useful as this is compulsory to drive some of our distribution vehicles. Being physically fit is also really important as you will be required to do manual work in our warehouse, combined with loading of our delivery vehicles and unloading of our supplier vehicles. You will be working in a small and experienced team who are able to offer you lots of support in your new role. You require your own transport to get to work, and it helps to be thorough, friendly and organised.
About The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day running of our warehouse operation. This will include accurately picking and invoicing orders for our customers, and loading them onto our delivery vehicles. Taking inbound deliveries from our suppliers and efficiently working them into our stock holding as per Company guidelines. You will regularly use our computer systems to carry out stock takes, place orders with suppliers and maintain our product portfolio. The candidate will deal first hand with our customers and suppliers and ensure they receive a professional and courteous service.
