My client is looking for an On-Trade Route to Market NAM who will be responsible & accountable for delivering ambitious growth plans and the profitable management of key National Route to Market partners.

You will have the grit and determination to deliver in a fast-paced environment, whilst being uncompromising, resilient and tenacious. You will have the capability to work cross-functionally both internally and externally and this will be key to success in this role.

With an ability to learn quickly and hit the ground running, this role is an exciting challenge in what is regarded as a truly unique business which continues to grow in triple digits YOY and is rapidly changing the shape of the UK’s craft beer industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing customer specific account plans aligned to the channel objectives through win-win solutions that do not compromise values and principles.
  • Ensuring an effective top to bottom contact strategy is maintained with all customer contacts
  • Effective cross-functional working across UK on & Off Trade teams, marketing, finance and operations teams.
  • Deliver agreed volume and commercial targets and growth.
  • Leveraging partnership agreements to deliver 2017 distribution plan and growth in market share.
  • Own and deliver a craft category approach for each customer to maximise category opportunities
  • Deliver against forecasting and credit control objectives
  • Execution of customer specific Activity Plans and management of A&P budget.

You

  • Minimum of 5 years’ sales experience.
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience as a National Account Manager within the UK On-Trade with a full commercial understanding and the ability to manage a P&L.
  • A solid understanding of the UK On-Trade and its dynamics, with experience within Route to Market
  • A proven and strong negotiator who is solution-focused.
  • A team player who has excellent interpersonal, communication, organisational and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical ability and commercial acumen.
  • Positive attitude to continuous learning and application of best practices
  • Awareness of the UK craft beer scene and a willingness to develop skills and knowledge further.
  • IT savvy, highly proficient in using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Evidence of an entrepreneurial ’can do’ attitude; uncompromising, ambitious, relentless, willing to take risks and thinks outside the box, learns obsessively
  • Ability to consistently exceed customer, internal and consumer expectations.
  • An innovative and creative streak that works through and around issues and obstacles.
