National Account Manager - On premise (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

We are recruiting for a commercially confident and self-motivated National Account Manager – On Premise to join our Sales team. You would be joining a successful team with some exciting opportunities ahead. The role is home based with regular travel to clients and our regional office in Twickenham. You will be responsible for the development of a number of key accounts within the UK on premise channel as well as route to market management.

Some of your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Developing and executing a business development plan within the On Premise channel plans

  • The planning, execution and  monitoring of sales and after-sales activities

  • Managing and processing all of the back office activities in regards to commercial agreements and/or pricing amendments, as well managing promotional invoices direct or 3rd party.

  • Maintaining relationships with relevant departments in TWE to ensure alignment on forecast, stock, brand activations and be the first point of contact for escalations relating to customer orders and payments.

  • Assisting with execution and delivery of marketing activities and/or trade events and tastings 

  • Commercial responsibility to include all aspects of budgeting, forecasting, sales & profitability

To be our next National Account Manager you will have:

ESSENTIAL

  • Previous On-Premise sales management experience, with a proven track record.

  • On Premise Retail & RTM sales experience, customer & portfolio management

  • Degree or diploma in Business, Economics or similar discipline

  • Computer Literacy – Word, Excel, PowerPoint & email

  • Numerate with strong financial skills

  • Strong negotiation skills

  •  Full UK driving licence

DESIRABLE

  • WSET or similar wine education

  • Knowledge of market
