Job Description
Majestic Wine is Britain’s biggest and best specialist wine retailer. We’re looking for 20-30 enthusiastic Christmas Customer Happiness assistants to help us deliver excellent levels of service to our customers shopping over the festive period. This is a great role for someone who is looking gain invaluable experience in a fast-paced customer service environment.
The role is based within our Distribution Centre based in Hemel Hempstead and the ideal candidate will be available to start immediately and work through until late December.
What the job entails:
Reporting to the Customer Happiness Manager, you will work alongside the Customer Happiness team to deliver an effortless customer experience for all our customers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Answering customer enquiries in a prompt, friendly and helpful manner via email and telephone.
- Providing a 5 star customer service to all our customers.
- Processing multi-destination orders (telesales)
- Processing telephone orders for in-store and online customers.
- Helping customers track order progress and dealing with delivery issues.
- Liaising with Majestic store teams to resolve customer enquiries.
- Ability to handle complaints in a courteous and professional manner.
- Processing and managing Christmas orders.
- Liaising with customers via phone and email about their order.
- Communicating internally with Customer Happiness and Retail Department.
- Following up order delivery with couriers
Full training will be provided.
What we are looking for:
The ideal candidate should already have a keen interest within the Ecommerce or Customer Service industries and will have some experience in a customer service or b2b environment.
You will also be highly organised and thrive in a fast paced environment, especially where multi-tasking is required.
You will also need:
- At least 5 GCSEs grade A-C or equivalent required as well as A-level or equivalent level qualifications.
- Excellent communication skills, including a polite and courteous telephone and manner and good standard of writing.
- A good level of general computer literacy and basic knowledge of Excel.
- You must be over 18 years of age and eligible to work in the UK.
Salary - £19,350 (pro rata for the duration of the contract) working 45 hours a week on a shift pattern (shifts TBC), five days out of seven (will include weekend working).
You will also be eligible for 20% staff discount for you, and two friends or family members, and an attendance bonus worth up to £200!
