  Head of Retail Sales Operations, Scotland

Your key management role is to maximising the sales and profitability of our shops and merchandise at the company’s and its partners premises. This will include all direct sales to the public and our retail partners. 
  
  You will work closely with the marketing team to plan, coordinate activities maintain and develop our retail offering in our shops, franchises and retail outlets
  
 
  Typical work activities include: 
  • selecting, training, motivating and developing staff including seasonal brewery tour guides, retail staff and part-time shop workers and franchises ; 
  • monitoring health and safety, environmental health and legal requirements; in our retail premises and in relation to our retail staff
  • ensuring that retail premises as well as websites and social media are maintained to a standard consistent with the quality of our beer; 
  • monitoring the business performance of outlets and setting and achieving sales and profit targets; 
  • targeting and developing specific markets; 
  • selecting appropriate merchandise for our shops, bars and those of our retail partners;
  • broadening awareness of market and competitor activity;
  • brewery tours development and managing access to tours but not limited to liaison with tour companies, guides and the appropriate tourist boards.
  • retail operation at the brewery including shop management, brewery tour, stock management and display.
  • organizing and managing local, national and international delivery of product to consumers.
  • Organising and managing transport services to bring tourists to our breweries.
  
  
The ideal candidate will have tourism and shop management experience and have a degree in a related subject.
  
Choice of work base locations Arran, Dreghorn, Perthshire, Cambridge, or Glasgow
  
A current driving license is essential and willingness to ravel will be required.
