Client Account Manager (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

Itasca Wines is looking for a full-time Client Account Manager, acting as the main point of contact for all contract winemaking customers. We have built a world class winemaking facility in Hampshire and are expanding to the Crouch Valley in Essex to meet the growing demand for ultra-premium still Pinot Noir red and Chardonnay white wines. As such, this brand-new role would cover client management and communication from both Hampshire and Essex facilities.

The role:

·          Main point of contact for all contract winemaking customers

·          Liaising with Head Winemaker and Head of Operations regarding winemaking protocol and winery scheduling

·          Preparing winemaking proposals and quotes for customers

·          Confirming customer invoicing details for each stage of the winemaking process

·          Involvement in blending sessions and dosage trials

·          Supporting clients on dry goods, labelling and packaging decisions

·          Leading winery tours for new and existing contract winemaking customers

About you:

·          Winemaking background and/or qualified to WSET Diploma

·          Excellent track record of customer service

·          Strong problem-solving and communication skills

·          Great attention to detail

·          Self-motivated and well organised

·          Ability to travel regularly to both Hampshire and Essex facilities

·          Ability to lift 20kg

·          Ability to fit into a small team

·          Willingness to embrace a flexible working environment/culture
