A Fixed-Term (2 years) opportunity has arisen for a Business Analyst to join Chivas Brothers based within the Finance Department at its Paisley site. Working in this position you will:-
- Prepare the first level control review and delivery of consolidated management P&L on a monthly basis to both the parent company and the Chivas Brothers executive committee.
- Support the delivery of a full range of control, business and external reports that provide an accurate and timely review of historical performance
- Assist in the delivery of CBL consolidated budget and estimates.
- Support the annual standard costing and transfer pricing budget process ensuring all deadlines are met and all questions are answered on a timely basis from the markets.
- Develop decision support models for the budget and estimate processes
- Ensure there is an efficient flow of data between data cubes whilst effectively managing and controlling the various iterations of data input.
- Be the key contact in relation to local profitability (margin reporting) ensuring flow of information with regards NPD and VAP.
- Provide ad hoc analysis and support to the business analysis team
This role requires a qualified accountant (CIMA/ CA /ACCA or equivalent) with at least 2-3 years of relevant experience. You will be a self-starter with a strong desire to learn about the business. You will have first class IT skills and the ability to manage large volumes of data to produce meaningful analysis.
Proactive and results orientated, you will be able to demonstrate very high levels of accuracy and quality in your work. You will also have good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels within the business.
