The Ballantine’s global Marketing team is looking for a Marketing Manager to Contribute to the strategic direction of the brand and to create impactful global and local advertising as well as music experiential campaigns that will drive brand growth. This is a maternity cover role where creativity, drive and innovative thinking are truly encouraged and we want someone who can help us blow off the dust and make whisky THE drink for the younger generation.

The next step is to truly integrate those consumers into our world and you will help to drive our marketing strategy to ensure we’re moving ahead of the trends and delivering cutting edge work.

As Marketing Manager you will support the Marketing Director to:

• Develop the global communication strategy for Ballantine’s and lead and champion the implementation of the strategy with key markets.
• Be the brand guardian for Ballantine’s "Stay True" positioning and develop impactful global advertising campaigns landing this message (both traditional and digital).
• Work with and ensure buy in from target markets, particularly Spain, France, China, Mexico and India and collaborate on local communications campaigns.
• Develop integrated True Music campaigns that will be activated by markets around the world.
• Lead the development of the brand’s Global Music Platform, define the long-term strategy and manage the implementation in key lead markets.
• Lead the development of Annual Brand Plans and Strategic Plans for Ballantine’s Core Range.
• Develop and coach direct reports.
• Manage the Ballantine’s core range budget in collaboration with finance team.

Our ideal global Marketing Manager will be an established marketing professional with significant experience across all marketing functions. They will have strong visual and brand identity skills with experience working on Brand vision. They will have a good commercial understanding as well as being consumer insight driven. They will have a cultural openness with a high level of emotional intelligence.
