Description

We have a new opportunity in our Finance department for a Senior Business Analyst.

Your role will be to deliver finance business partnering in relation to Brand/Market profitability and innovation to marketing/strategy/finance to drive the development of business strategies and the implementation of commercial decisions.
 
You will be based in Hammersmith but may need to travel to other locations as required.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Analyse brand/market performance, proactively present findings to marketing teams and prepare high level commentaries for the Executive Committee. Identify and explain trends, drivers, risks and opportunities of the business (monthly results, budgets and forecasts)
  • Contribute to total CBL finance cycle (reporting, LE, budget, strat plan)
  • Innovation / new product development: provide financial models for business cases. Liaise with Marketing and Costing teams to provide the most relevant P&Ls
  • Represent finance in cross-functional initiatives
  • Assist marketing teams in monitoring their budgets
  • Be the finance contact and business partner for some structure costs budget holders
  • Ad hoc project based analysis as and when required
     

Key Skills and Experience

  • Degree level education or equivalent
  • Qualified accountant (preferred but not essential) with 3-5 experience in a relevant discipline
  • Highly developed spreadsheet skills (VBA a plus) - proven financial modeling skills
  • Good business skills / knowledge – with a financial bias
  • Developed communication, presentation and relational skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proactive, results-oriented and able to work independently and as part of a team
