We are currently looking to recruit a Permanent Full Time Manager for our Wine Rack store in Farnham.

 

Once the busiest store in the company this store is now newly franchised and is about to receive heavy investment in a major refit. We are looking for the person who will lead this store and team to new heights. The successful candidate will be ably supported by two excellent Assistant Managers and will work closely with a very passionate and supportive Senior Management team.

 

Main responsibilities:

• Work towards and deliver store objectives set out by the Management Team.
• Achieve weekly sales and margin targets.
• Encourage, train and support all members of your team to ensure world class service and customer experience.
• Ensure excellent store standards are maintained throughout the store.
• Manage orders, stock holding and wastage.
• Be responsible for the stocktaking programme and investigate any discrepancies.
• Assist the Events Manager in creating and promoting exciting new in store events for our customers.
• Be a confident presenter and sales person for instore tastings.
• Always be looking for exciting new opportunities to grow sales and promote the business in the local area.
• Oversee staff training programme.
• Be a role model and example to all team members.

Skills/experience required:

WSET Level 2 minimum

1 Year Retail or Business Management

Good basic IT skills in Word, Excel and Outlook
