Henners is looking for a self-employed individual to join our team on a part time basis. The ideal candidate will be motivated to work well on their own outdoors as well as being part of a small but friendly team, liaising on a day to day basis with the vineyard manager.
Hours will equate to around 50% of full time hours over a year period. We are looking for someone who can dedicate full months at a time to the vineyard during the busy periods of the year.
For the right candidate, the self-motivated individual will gain all the skills required through Henners to carry out all manual work within the vineyard. Therefore previous experience would be very welcome but is not absolutely essential however, a positive can-do attitude, taking pride in your work is important.
Examples of vineyard work that we would expect to be carried out would include but not be limited to winter pruning, tying down, bud rubbing, crown clearing and wire moving. This would also include being part of the harvest team.
Due to the nature of the work, we are looking for someone who loves to work outdoors, who would be committed come rain or shine, with a good level of fitness to carry out the physical tasks.
