We are looking for a Site Services Estates Team Member to undertake general estate ground maintenance duties, using team machinery to maintain and improve the appearance of the Dufftown Distillery site and also assisting with effluent plant operational and maintenance duties.

Based from our flagship Distillery in Dufftown, the spiritual home of our company, where our founder created the first dram of Glenfiddich 125 years ago, this role will support and enable the ambitious plans of a growing global spirits company with a portfolio of premium brands, including Glenfiddich, Hendricks Gin and Grant's whisky to name but a few.

As a vital member of the team you will be involved in a variety of exciting projects which will include:

  • Operate estate and effluent machinery (once fully trained) in a safe and coordinated manner.
  • Coordinate and undertake all required estate maintenance duties (grass cutting, weed killing etc) to an acceptable standard for all of the site grounds.
  • Ensure that pre-use checks are carried out for all estate and effluent machinery ensuring adherence to required maintenance and health and safety standards.
  • Complete and fill in appropriate daily, weekly and monthly paperwork to allow information to be uplifted into IFS for record keeping purposes.
  • Assist with site wide snow clearance.
  • Contributes appropriately to team meetings and supports the implementation of team strategy, plans and continuous improvement projects.
  • Be part of the effluent 1 in 7 on-call duty rota and winter early starts

You should be time served/qualified gardener or a minimum of 3 years’ working experience with the ability to operate/drive hand mowers and ride on grass cutting machinery. Ability to drive and operate tractors and attachments would be a distinct advantage
