We are currently seeking an experienced IT professional to join the IT Team as Brand Co Head of IT Governance, reporting to the Global Head of IT Governance.
Brand Co is the name the collective name for the IT departments of a number Pernod Ricard Companies, Irish Distillers (Ireland) , Chivas (UK) and The Absolut company (Sweden) and a number of smaller affiliate in Northern Europe.
Job purpose:
The Head of Governance is responsible for improving the efficiency of the IT organization by:
· Organizing and contributing to the definition of Business Technology Strategy and IT governance, in line with business guidelines and ambitions for the future
· Active membership of the BrandCo IT Leadership team
· Evaluating the performance of the IT organization and the value delivered to the business
· Improving the maturity of the IT Organisation
· Ensuring that IT resources are optimized to support business processes
· Managing the IT budget and monitoring IT spends and associated risks
The Governance team provides support to the IT organization and plays a role of coordination between IT and other departments (HR, Audit, Finance, external vendors…).
Main roles and responsibilities:
o Responsible for the organization of the Business Strategy process (data gathering, workshop preparation, strategy document writing).
o Evaluate the performance of the IT organization and the value delivered to the business.
o Gather feedbacks, research best practices and lead changes of the processes to increase IT maturity.
o Formalize and execute Group IT standards and best practices.
o Coordinate the IT budgeting process, supervise the budget consolidation and analysis of Actual/Last estimate, monitor IT spends.
o Supervise budget follow-up and reporting to the Chief Financial Officers (CFO’s) of the cluster of affliates.
o Coordinate the IT Audit process, supervising the audit consolidation and reporting
o Supervise the IT Audit follow-up and reporting to the CFO’s
o Coordinate the follow-up of relevant IT projects.
o Oversee release management of the IT ITSM and Portfolio platform.
o Define priorities for the Governance team and manage talent and skill development.
o Interact with HR on people development and skills.
o Organize training and refresher courses of the IT Team.
Education and Experience Required:
- Masters in Engineering /Business school / Computer science
· 10-15 years of previous experience in IT in a Leadership role
· Hands-on experience with IT Solutions or Infrastructure delivery
· Ability to think conceptually and strategically
· Excellent knowledge of the complexities of integrating IT and commercial objectives and strategies
· Strong Project Management Experience using recognised project management methodology
· Proven ability to develop productive and credible working relationships with a diverse network of stakeholders
· Excellent verbal, written, planning and organizational skills
· Excellent time management, decision making, organization and interpersonal skills
· Creativity and a wide degree of latitude are expected
· Customer oriented
· Language required: Must be Fluent in spoken and written English
· Experience in IT Governance within a large international group desirable but not essential
