An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Finance Analyst to join Quintessential Brands.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities of our Finance Analyst? 

• Daily liaison with internal customers in order to meet stakeholder needs. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal customers to maximise stakeholder engagement and the quality of service provision. 

• Review processes on an ongoing basis, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, and proposing/ implementing these with input/authorisation from the Group Commercial Finance Director as appropriate. 

• Compilation and analysis of month end reports, strategic and annual plans to produce the Annual Budget, 6+6 and 3 Year Plans in accordance with the Group guidelines for the Innovation entities and Regional divisions. 

• Develop, track and update monthly reporting on working capital. 

• Manage the production of year end statutory accounts, audit relationship, tax returns and to ensure the business complies with all local statutory financial requirements including FRS102, Companies 2014 and ixBRL for Innovation entities. 

• Manage the month end balance sheet reconciliation process, ensuring timely completion within the global function guidelines and timetable, and analysis any significant variances for the month end review and authorisation process for Innovation entities. 

• Manage the reporting of Overheads monthly, including tracking, review, team consultation and commentary for variances to budget for Innovation entities and Regional divisions. 

• Manage and support ad hoc cross function and internal projects to influence and share best practice 

• For Innovation entities and Regional divisions develop, track, update monthly reporting of Marketing A&P budget and quarterly latest estimates – by brand; conducting monthly reviews with Brand Managers to understand the business and ensure confidence in overall budget. 

• Support ad hoc internal audit reviews and M&A activity

Skills required Your will have: 

• Experience in technical accounting aspects of management accounting and financial reporting 

• Financial control background 

• IT skills. Particularly Excel skills – including use of advanced features such as Pivot and Lookup tables

Educational requirements You will be a Newly Qualified or Finalist Accountant with supporting work experience.
