JOB PURPOSE:
· Lead/contribute to some key (cross-functional) strategic business topics
· Lead the development, implementation & follow-through for the IDL Planning Cycle
· Coordinate intelligence compilation and share key insights/recommendations, for IDL and for PR HQ (CIN)
JOB SCOPE:
· Reporting to: Head of Strategy – part of the IDL International Marketing Team (IMT)

· Key Responsibilities for this Role:
1. BUSINESS TOPICS : Lead/contribute to some key (cross-functional) business topics. These topics include
- Market expansion (categories/geographies)
- Value Creation (Pricing)
- Long-term Vision
2. BUSINESS CYCLE : Lead the development, implementation & follow-through for the IDL Plannning - 3YPlan/Budget :
- Identification / selection of game-changing topics
- Storyline : lead the architecture of the content and messages
- Compilation of elements among various departments
- Content rechallenge / data check
- Formalization of the presentation
3. BUSINESS / MARKET INTELLIGENCE : Coordinate intelligence compilation and share key insights/recommendations, for IDL and for PR HQ (CIN)
- Market Intelligence :
o Extract key insights from Nielsen/IWSR data and share with key IDL stakeholders
o Manage the Euromonitor relationship; Evaluate offerings from alternative service providers
- Competitor Intelligence : Develop & implement a competitor intelligence process and cascade relevant insights to key stakeholders
o Gather information, take away key insights and share with key IDL stakeholders (Compack)
o Attend & contribute to PR HQ CIN meetings
- Trends : Support the development of the Trend Book for relevant trends
Projects to be assigned based on workload, including
- Jameson 2030 Vision – key accelerator pillars
- IDL Prestige portfolio
- Cross-functional topics : pricing/KPI cockpit
KEY SKILLS REQUIRED:
· Ability to work under pressure and capable of managing multiple work streams simultaneously
· Strong project management skills
· Relationship building - excellent communication skills – able to communicate and influence cross-functionally and across all levels of the business
· Superior analytical & business acumen skills – financial data, market data, business forecasts etc.
· Basic level of Brand strategy & planning
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
· Educated to degree level (Honours) in a Business School
· 5 years’ experience in Strategy/Business Development, ideally in a consulting firm
· Experience in Asian business (especially China and India) is a strong plus
· Highly proficient in the use of MS Office: Powerpoint and Excel (advanced skills) are essential.
