Our Middle East region is expanding due to tremendous success and emerging opportunities. We have an excellent opportunity for a commercially savvy, customer focused Sales Manager, Middle East, with previous wine or spirits sales experience, to join our growing team in Dubai. This is a new role to the region and will be take full ownership for delivering profitable sales growth across our wine portfolio in key markets, forging relationships with key accounts and managing customer strategy whilst working with the Regional General Manager and Marketing teams to build and deliver effective channel plans.  

Some of your key responsibilities as the Sales Manager, Middle East will include: 

  • achievement of market volume and value growth targets by ensuring the effective and timely execution of the Business Plans

  • negotiating and introducing business agreements/trading terms with key customers to grow EBIT and build brand equity.

  • managing all trade and marketing related spend to ensure it is maximised and creates business value, in line with the business plan

  • proactively analysing data, seeking opportunities and putting plans/actions in place to take advantage of opportunities

  • understanding and interpreting Marketing plans as they relate to the category and developing execution plans and priorities accordingly

To be our first Sales Manager, Middle East you will have:

  • Previous key account management and business development experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrable experience in leading a successful team to achieve objectives
  • Experience in dealing with a demanding, culturally diverse customer base.
  • Strong strategic planning skills developing initiatives (sales drivers) to achieve targeted results
  • Wine / Liquor / Spirits knowledge
  • Degree in Business, Commerce, or Marketing preferred, but not essential
  • Qualification in Wine Education or Beverages preferred, but not essential
  • Effective negotiation skills with particular skill in overcoming objections 
  • Strong business financials understanding, analysis and application
  • The ability to travel up to 50%
