Brand & DTC Wine Ambassador (Wine Jobs: Wine Retail & Sommelier)

Our Middle East region is expanding due to tremendous success and emerging opportunities. We have an excellent opportunity for a passionate, customer focused Brand & DTC Wine Ambassador, with significant wine knowledge, to join our growing team in Dubai. This is a new role to the region and will be tasked with educating, inspiring and sharing the TWE wine brand narratives to strengthen engagement across internal stakeholders, distributors, customers, consumers & media.

Some of your key responsibilities as the Brand & DTC Wine Ambassador, Middle East will include: 

  • driving profitable growth and distribution of the TWE brands in line with the business plan

  • increasing awareness of these brands amongst our customers, trade and consumers.

  • developing and implementing customer and region specific education and training programs to ensure regional and customer goals are meet

  • supporting the execution & delivery of localized events & public relations initiatives as the brand representative; becoming the face of the brands in the absence of the winemakers.

  • seeking out and executing Direct to Consumer (DTC) opportunities

  • reporting on local market conditions to assist with strategic planning, identifying markets that require support.

To be our first Brand & DTC Wine Ambassador, Middle East you will have:

  • Advanced wine knowledge with ideally 5 years’ experience in the wine trade (Sommelier background an advantage)

  • Hospitality background (preferred)

  • Excellent presentation skills

  • Have a proven track record in on premise sales & educational expertise.

  • International experience (preferred).

  • The ability to quickly adapt & take ownership in start-up type environment.

  • The ability to understand & manage to superior financial returns.

  • The ability to travel at least 50%
