We are currently recruiting Cellar Hands for the 2016 vintage.
Harvest is expected to begin in the last week of September and run for between six and eight weeks, until mid-November.
The role is varied, and the ability to be flexible is paramount. However, the position will mainly consist of crush pad activities, racking of juice, inoculations and the general maintenance of cellar hygiene standards. Some basic lab work may also be required.
A vintage at Denbies provides an excellent opportunity to gain experience in cool climate winemaking and an insight into sparkling production at one of England’s premium estates.
A valid licence to drive a fork lift truck is preferred but not essential. Ideal candidates will have experience of working in several cellars including cool climate regions.
