Sales and Marketing Coordinator

Role

Langham Wine Estate are producers of world-class English Sparkling Wines. We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a sales and marketing coordinator to join our small team based close to Dorchester, Dorset. The chosen candidate will be responsible for a range of sales and marketing tasks, working closely with the directors to ensure continued growth of the business.

 

Responsibilities

·         Increase sales both to trade and private customers

·         Manage tasting room and promote direct sales

·         Organise and attend events both on and off the Estate

·         Manage social media accounts

·         Respond to customer enquiries

·         Manage website and liaise with web developers

·         Despatch orders

·         General administration and office support

·         Build relationships with wine critics and journalists to ensure good media coverage

·         Organise and conduct tours

·         Manage existing sales accounts and develop new accounts

·         Develop national distribution and export opportunities

 

Personal attributes

·         An enthusiastic and outgoing individual who is self-driven and has the ability to use their own initiative

·         Organised and efficient with attention to detail

·         Willingness to attend external events and work flexible hours to meet the demands of the job

·         Able to act as a brand ambassador and communicate our passion for English wines and Dorset produce

 

Required skills/experience

·         Sales and customer service experience

·         Computer literate with good Microsoft office skills and confident with social media platforms

·         Full, clean UK driving license essential; ability to tow a trailer desirable

·         Experience of working in the wine trade and/or wine-related qualifications would be beneficial but not essential

 

This is a permanent, full-time position beginning with a 6 month probationary period

Salary: £18,000 - £22,000 per annum depending on experience
