Marketing Executive (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

This role is essential in supporting the business and marketing team. The responsibilities of the Marketing Executive involve managing multiple projects and workflows internally and externally. We are looking for a classically trained Marketing Executive with a strong grasp of the fundamental marketing principles. You must be able to juggle between a diverse range of tasks, whilst having exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Driving projects forward.

As Marketing Executive, you will be directly responsible for:
  • Line management of the Marketing Coordinator.
  • Supporting the Head of Marketing to implement marketing activities which deliver on the marketing strategy.
  • The planning and execution of multiple projects across internal departments to agreed timelines, budget and in line with brand guidelines.
  • Supporting the sales team with any account activations, POS requests and general day to day support.
  • Managing and implementing marketing brand campaigns, sponsorships and partnerships to ensure agreed KPIs are met.
  • Agency management.
  • Creating performance reports and tracking marketing activity against agreed KPIs
  • Assisting the Head of Marketing with research, insight and analysis into the brand and relevant sector competition.
  • Supporting with PR management, as directed by the Head of Marketing
  • Assist in the formulation and implementation of digital marketing activities in line with the overall digital marketing strategy.
  • Manage the production of marketing communications and promotional materials in line with brand guidelines including writing, editing and proofreading copy, briefing and directing designers, copywriters and printers.
  • Develop suitable campaign briefing documents for partners such as designers and copywriters.
  • Promote adherence to brand guidelines; police, format and print branded documents prepared by non-marketing colleagues.
  • Supporting Marketing, Sales and Retail teams with events when required.
  • Supporting on email campaign creation: organising the workflow, tracking and reporting.
  • Networking with suppliers, large contractors, partner organisations and other business stakeholder.
  • Liaise and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Experience and knowledge required:
  • Minimum of 4 years marketing experience as Marketing Coordinator/assistant/executive, preferably sector relevant.
  • Marketing experience in an autonomous role, inputting suggestions and solutions for the department and wider business.
  • Project management experience including working with agencies.
  • Experienced in creating and executing against marketing plans.
  • Experienced in working across departments to align projects.
  • Strong internal and external communication experience.
  • Experience of analysing and continually improving marketing effectiveness.
  • Budget management.
  • Marketing platform experience essential. Dotdigital (automation platform) email desirable.
  • Competent using design suites such as InDesign, Multi-Ad Creator, Adobe, Illustrator or photoshop is desirable.
  • Extensive experience of highly effective verbal and written communication
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office.

Hours
  • 30 hours a week minimum
