The Company
Jackson Nugent Vintners Ltd is a well-established, highly respected family business, with a strong/premium/quality wine portfolio and are importers and distributors to the trade. Based in Wimbledon Village, we are now seeking to expand our On-Trade Sales, Wholesale and Trade sectors.
The Role
To meet strategic expansion plans, we seek to appoint a Sales Manager to work in this dynamic and commercial environment, covering Central London and the M25 areas, to:
· sell our top quality agency wines into hotels, restaurants, London clubs, catering companies and other sectors
· forge good business relationships with wine buyers/ influencers
· manage existing accounts, identify new sales opportunities and target new business
· increase prominence and visibility of key agency wines whilst working towards increasing the company profile
· achieve growth targets
The Package
· Basic salary circa. £25k pa + commission (negotiable)
· Flexible working hours
· Laptop & mobile
· Payment of travel expenses in London
· Company Pension Scheme
The Person
Must have the following:
· Proven track record of winning, developing and growing accounts
· On-Trade sales experience with outstanding contacts in central London
· WSET (minimum Level 2) qualification with experience in the wine trade
· Effective networker with a high level of ambition
· Excellent client relationship building capabilities
· Analytical and numerate with attention to detail
· Ability to communicate with confidence, both internally and externally
· Strong IT skills including social media
· Live within the M25
